I have a decade of experience working in this role in Western Canada, working with 1000s of dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I began working with dogs in my youth as a volunteer for the BCSPCA, which eventually developed into a full-time animal care attendant position but only for a short while, as it was really hard on my heart. Working at the SPCA encouraged me to pursue a certification in equine massage in London, Ontario. These experiences and studies have given me a balanced approach to dealing with dogs of all types. I then moved into working with one of the top Canadian Sedation Free Teeth Cleaning companies in Canada. Working there for over 5 years as a practitioner I eventually became the BC Co-Manager and trained new employees and managed the team while developing and maintaining relationships with dog related business owners all over BC. We will take before and after pictures to document the service. The teeth will be hand polished with an all natural polish powder at the end of the scaling. The whole service takes about 90 mins. Our Methods: wrap smaller dogs in a towel and lay on back each dog gets a fresh set of linens use fingers to open the mouth use a hand held scaler polish with all natural polish powder no drugs or sedation of ANY kind takes about an hour or so lots of praise and reassurance Vet Referrals: If upon initial check we find teeth that look suspicious, we will bring them to your attention and we can discuss what can be observed and take pictures for your vet. We do charge a $30.00+ tax booking fee which includes the consultation, report , and photos.
